My core training was with the Northern Guild of Psychotherapy which has an excellent reputation in the profession delivering courses accredited with UKCP and BACP.
My primary training style is Transactional Analysis whilst my broader training and approach is working in a relational and integrative manner in the humanistic field of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Before starting my private practice I gained over seven years of clinical experience working therapeutically with clients for the NHS. Here I provided solution-focused brief therapy, short-term counselling and longer-term depth psychotherapy, according to the needs and wishes of the client. I have also provided contract counselling services to a leading national mental health charity and I am an associate of a Clinical Psychology organisation.
